Ok so the wifey and I finally completed watching all of the episodes of Community.... That being said we feel that the last season felt forced. There were random cameos, cast change ups, and story arches that all didn't seem to fit in that well. We agreed that the down fall started with the exit of Peirce, but we understand the real life reasoning behind that line up change. Then we felt that that the last straw, so to speak, before the non-stop down fall of the series was the exit of Troy. We understand that it was said that Danny Glover wanted to focus on his music career, but the shows was built of him adding to the chemistry. From there it just was a jumble it seemed. The loss of Shirley, only to bring her back as a add-in prop in the last part of season 6. We missed the blend of Troy and Abed and Peirce and Jeff. The comedy seemed to just seem like the writer(s) were like.. ok I am being forced to be here by contract so here is something we can put a laugh track to. I mean yeah there were a couple random items we laughed at, but not like the laughs we got from the first 4 season. Season 5 and 6 were just not up to par for us. We miss the dreamatorium, Inspector Timespace, Troy and Abed in the morning, and all of the other random humor that was a part of the first 4 season.
Overall we give community a 9 out of 10, but give seasons 5 and 6 we would give a 4.5
