The Star Wars Holiday Special
deserves its infamy, but I always liked the cantina scene, with Bea
Arthur playing the unfortunate nighttime bartender.
We actually got a better look at several of the cantina aliens here than in the movie! (Not to mention the several “new” aliens created exclusively for the segment, which were cheesy in all the best ways.) The campyness of the whole special is reminiscent of the time period. Watching it now you can't do much more than laugh, or cringe, at portions of this 1978 Star Wars entry.
