Getting ready to sit down and watch a early release copy of the first episode of this new series. It follows the Wayne family's legendary butler, Alfred Pennyworth, a former British SAS soldier who forms a security company and goes to work with Thomas Wayne in 1960s London. I am interested to see how this plays out and how actor Jack Bannon portrays the younger Alfred. I was always interested in the back story of Alfred from all the comic books I read, TV series I watched, and movies I enjoyed. The series is slated for 10 episodes and officially airs on Epix July 28th. It is said to bring "Bond" and "Bondage" to the Alfred origin story.
