Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) Review
With Saun's and I already loving Queen we had high hopes for this movie. We were not let down. Rami Malek just embodied the spirit of Freddie Mercury. We loved how it touched on a full round storyline to the whole band that is Queen and the transitions that Freddie and the rest of his band mates went through. We loved how they portrayed the making of the song Bohemian Rhapsody as well as several others. The closing with the performance at Live Aid makes your heart pound as well as your eyes swell up. It was a great movie. We recommend even if your not a fan of Queen that you watch this movie. If you are not a fan of Queen when you watch this movie you will be a fan when it's over.
Overall we give this movie a 10 out 10.

Thrift Store Find
Decided to drop by the local thrift store in the way home this afternoon... and happened across a excellent find. Was only a couple of dollars and so worth it. AM / FM, cassette tape, with R/L inputs, as well as ear phone jack. Has the power cord as well as standard battery section and a added bonus of a universal adapter power port as well. Other than a little bit of dust on it the only thing that looks wrong is it needs a new tape drive belt. Which this is understandable since even when these were new you would occasionally have to pop open the back and replace the belt with a trusty rubber band, lol. Overall a awesome find in my book!

Once Upon A Deadpool (2018) Review

What I feel like...
This is humorously what I feel like sometimes when I sneak up behind my wife to give her a surprise kiss.
Adventure party
Consider:
Victorian England 1837 - 1901
American Old West 1803 - 1912
Meiji Restoration 1868 - 1912
French privateering in the Gulf of Mexico ended circa 1830
Conclusion: A adventuring party consisting of a Victorian gentleman theif, an Old West gunslinger, a disgraced former samurai, and an elderly French pirate is actually 100% historically plausible.
Fun food fact: Cockle Bread
Cockle Bread was a bread baked by women in the seventh century, which was supposed to act as a love charm. The dough was kneaded and pressed against the woman's vulva and then baked. The bread was then given the object of the baker's affections.
Concerts are not concerts anymore
It's sad, I remember going to concerts growing up and paying more for gas to get there than the ticket itself. I had a collection of ticket stubs from all the shows I enjoyed. Now a days it cost and arm and a leg and with most artist today their concert sound is so different from the studio sound due to studio manipulation of the sound. I miss the day when you could listen to a album and at the concert the singer sounded the same as the album. I guess you can call me old school but I'm not into paying hundreds of dollars to see a concert when it is just a so called dj playing music from a laptop or an artist that sounds like it's his body double on stage that doesn't haile a singing voice performing.
I miss the old days of true rock concerts.
