The wifey and I have been watching the series Community. We feel there have been a good number of funny story arches and then there have been a few that were not so much our cup of tea. All in all the core of the show we feel was wrapped around Abed and Troy not the core writing focus of Jeff being the glue that holds the series together. With the exit of Peirce there left a gap for this Jeff struggle. Then with the exit of Troy to go sail around the world with LeVar Burton we found that Troy would not be back. This has now led to the story line being led more to trying to intertwine Abed into other interactions that feel forced in some ways. We have not gotten all the way through season 5 yet, but fear that the show has lost its lack luster and shine. No more mentions so far of the Drematorium or Inspector Spacetime.... and no Troy and Abed in the Morning. We are still going to watch the rest of the episodes, but hope there is something that picks it back up a little.
