I find cables in my house that I know I should throw out, but then I’m like, “Nah, I better keep that in case someone comes around and needs to hook a Nokia N95 to a fax machine.”

I think I need to sort my books…
My wife was snapping some pictures of some of our book shelves to show a friend and then I realized…. I think I need to sort our book collection. We have tons of books, I mean way over a thousand in our collection. There are books literally in ever room of the house except the bathroom and laundry room, (unless you count the occasional puzzle book taken to the bathroom).Yeah I think I have an addiction.
Not only do we have all the books in our personal collection we also run a Little Free Library out front of our house. We have a separate storage room in our basement full of about 1500 books to cycle to the little library.
( *Side note: check here for a Little Free Library in your town https://ift.tt/1SseVOa )
This is just a few of the random pictures she took. This, unfortunately, is not even the tip of the iceberg of our collection.
Well now just another random ad on my news feed. I’m pretty sure there will be some sort of shrooms and be"Head"ing and such in this.
My wife was at a clients house dusting and found this old book. Here being a fellow bibliophile, she had to stop for a moment and check it out. She said this poem was her favorite so far from the book. The Spider and the Fly
“Will you walk into my parlour, said a Spider to a Fly;
‘Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy.
The way into my parlour is up a winding stair,
And I have many pretty things to shew when you get there.
Oh, no, no! said the little Fly; to ask me is in vain:
For who goes up that winding stair shall ne'er come down again.
Said the adorable Spider to the Fly, Dear friend, what can I do
To prove the warm affection I have ever felt tor you?
I have within my parlour great store of all that’s nice:
I’m sure you’re very welcome; will you please to take a slice!
Oh, no, no! said the little Fly; kind miss, that cannot be;
For I know what’s in your pantry, and I do not wish to see.
Sweet creature, said the Spider, you’re witty and you’re wise;
How handsome are your gaudy wings, how brilliant are your eyes!
I have a little looking-glass upon my parlour-shelf;
If you’ll step in one moment, sir, you shall behold yourself.
Oh, thank you, gentle miss, he said, for what you’re pleased to say;
And wishing you good morning now, I’ll call another day.
The Spider turn’d her round again, and went into her den,
For well she knew that cunning Fly would soon come back again.
And then she wore a tiny web, in a little corner sly,
And set her table ready for to dine upon the Fly;
And went out to her door again, and merrily did sing,
Come hither, pretty little Fly, with the gold and silver wing.
Alas, alas! how very soon this cunning little Fly,
Hearing her wily flattering words, came slowly fluttering by.
With humming wings he hung aloft, then nearer and nearer drew.
Thinking only of his crested head and gold and purple hue:
Thinking only of his brilliant wings, poor foolish thing! at last,
Up jump’d the hungry little Spider, and firmly held him fast!
She dragged him up her winding stair, into her dismal den,
Within her little parlour; but he ne'er came down again.
And now, my pretty maidens, who may this story hear,
To silly, idle, flattering words, I pray you ne'er give ear;
Unto a beatiful lady, close heart, and ear, and eye,
And learn a lesson from this tale of the Spider and the Fly.

As some may already know, I love going to thrift stores. I do t mind hand me downs. Sometimes you can find awesome deals, if you know where to look. I mean why go pay $40 for a pair of slacks that you can get at the thrift store for 99 cents. Wash them up, stitch a seam if need, and wear those bad boys with pride :-) . Some people are into thrift stores for fashion or upselling and such. Me, I’m just into it for the adventure of, “what will we find today?”. I mean once I found set of John from Mars books to complete my collection for less than $1. That was 10 books for less than the shipping for one would have been if bought on Ebay! Oh yeah!!! I mean hell I dont care about brands and all, if I like it I like it, but I am wearing a pair of Zoo York flat top deck shoes I found with tags still on them at Goodwill. The tag said $95….but what did I pay, yep $1! I’m mean seriously people throw out so many things that are brand new with tags still on them. None the less somedays you find that gem and somedays you just come home with a old VHS copy of Mac and Me in a worn cardboard slip sleeve.

I’ve come to realize that every picture of me and the wife reminds me of Frodo and Gandalf posing together.
This evening’s PSP game of choice God of War: Ghost of Sparta. Great game!
Traxx and I are watching Footloose from the 80’s. When Ren goes to kiss Ariel he huffed and turned to look at me with disapproval. Evidently he doesn’t like the mushy scenes.
The Slide (A classic from 2014)
And for this eve’s death defying feat brought to you by Saundra my lovely wife. We stopped off at Wolf Run State Park before heading to The Wilds in Cambridge Ohio. I went down the slide and then she decided to jump right up there for herself. The outcome was hilarious. (Warning - no Hobbits were actually harmed during the filming of this stunt)… Enjoy.
Handcrafted dragon eggs I made earlier this year.
Modified my PSPs so that I can load several games on the memory card with custom firmware. I love being able to take my old games from the cartridges and discs in my collection and coverting them to roms to put on the PSP to carry around with me. I have been using the Retrode module to plug into my laptop and transfer my collection over to be able to then load onto my PSP. (*Correction to the video - I mentioned that I was showing the 3000 series PSPs, but in this video I actually have out my 2000 series, apologies)
